Daisy
Written into Susanna Kaysen's 1993 memoir, Girl, Interrupted and appearing in it's 1999 film adaptation, Daisy Randone was a character loosely based on a true to life, young woman living in the 1960's. Kaysen's fellow patient in a psychiatric hospital, Daisy was portrayed as a troubled youth, struggling with bulimia and trapped in an incestuous relationship with her own father.
